Job Overview: As an Event Host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our events run smoothly and provide an enjoyable atmosphere for aur members. You will be the face of Groundfloor, welcoming guests, facilitating activities, and promoting community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Preparation: Assist in setting up event spaces, including arranging furniture, testing equipment, and ensuring all materials are ready.
• Guest Engagement: Welcome attendees, provide information about the event, and foster a friendly and inclusive environment.
• Event Facilitation: Lead activities, manage schedules, and coordinate with speakers or facilitators to ensure seamless event execution.
• Problem-Solving: Address any issues or concerns that arise during events, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees.
• Feedback Collection: Gather attendee feedback post-event to help improve future offerings.
• Community Building: Promote Groundfloors mission and values, encouraging networking and interaction among guests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in event hosting or customer service is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic and approachable personality, with a passion for building community.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Basic technical skills to operate audio/visual equipment (training will be provided).
