As a Managing Director of Data Product Insights within the Commercial and Investment Banking team, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and execution of AI and ML-enabled insights. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a team of product managers, each with their own specialized insight categories, and coordinating with business-aligned CRM, Digital, and marketing teams to deliver these insights directly to bankers and clients. Reporting to the Chief Data and Analytics Officer, you will contribute to the growth of our proprietary data assets and AI / ML capabilities.

Job responsibilities

1. Define and execute the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with CRM, marketing and digital distribution channel partners.
2. Lead and manage a team of product managers focused on creating and deploying AI and ML-driven insights, including prospecting, product recommendations, payments intelligence, credit risk trends, operations, and commercial real estate.
3. Collaborate with senior stakeholders across commercial and investment banking to identify key business challenges and opportunities where AI and ML can drive significant value.
4. Oversee the integration of AI and ML insights into CRM and Digital channels, ensuring seamless delivery and optimal user experience for bankers and support teams.
5. Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of advanced AI and ML techniques.
6. Manage the product lifecycle from concept through development, go-to-market, and continuous improvement.
7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to AI and ML applications in banking.
8. Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to keep the bank at the forefront of innovation in AI and ML.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

1. 10+ years' managing diverse, highly technical teams in the field of Data Science, Analytics or a related field
2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proven experience in a senior product management role, with a strong focus on AI and ML products.
4. Extensive knowledge of commercial and investment banking processes and challenges.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of product managers and cross-functional teams.
6. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives.
8. Experience with CRM systems and Digital client-facing channels
9. Familiarity with regulatory and ethical considerations in deploying AI and ML solutions in banking
