Job Title: GNSS Software Engineer (Contractor)
Location: 3655 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95134
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $65.00/hr - $85.00/hr

Description
Job Responsibilities:

1. Analysis of complex software and hardware systems to determine sources of anomalies and potential improvement.
2. Statistical data analysis to identify trends and issues with current technologies and IP.
3. Analyze customer field reports for issues relating to acquisition, tracking, and/or measurement quality.
4. Analyze positioning performance. Develop, implement, and test changes necessary to resolve issues and enhance performance.
5. Prepare documentation on algorithms, software, and test results.
6. Ability to multi-task effectively under considerable pressure of deadlines and easily adapt within a fast-paced environment.

1. Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, or relevant disciplines with more than 3 years of related experience.
2. Knowledge of GNSS positioning, measurements, and error modeling.
3. Understanding of basic machine learning is a plus.
4. Experience with Jira, Gerrit, Git is a plus.
5. Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
6. Able to work with minimal supervision while working in a team atmosphere.
7. Fast learning, hard-working, and self-driven.
