Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced Material Handler for our night shift. The Material Handler supports smooth and efficient material flow within the Rice Cakes department. This position is responsible for performing daily equipment checks, maintaining clean and organized storage areas, and following all safety and quality procedures. The Material Handler also works closely with the production team to achieve output goals and troubleshoot material handling issues.

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and organize materials and finished products.
• Complete palletization of products on the production line for efficient transfer.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections in compliance with safety, GMP, and SQF standards.
• Prepare and stage materials in advance to ensure smooth shift transitions.
• Accurately record material movements in Business Central to maintain up-to-date inventory.
• Identify and report material shortages or discrepancies to the Production Scheduling and Control Specialist.

• 1 year of experience operating a forklift.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime as business needs necessitate.
• Basic English reading comprehension to understand labels, instructions, and safety procedures.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction, for accurate product counts and labeling.
• Ability to enter and manage data accurately in inventory tracking and production control systems.
• Ability to work at a consistent, fast pace with hands-on production tasks.
• Ability to adjust material setup to accommodate variety changes in production lines.
