A Direct Support Professional provides essential support to adults in their homes and communities-fostering independence, encouraging personal growth, and promoting a joyful, inclusive life. No two days are the same, but every day brings the chance to make a meaningful impact.What You'll Do:

As a DSP, you'll support people in living their best lives. Your role may include:

• Supporting daily living tasks like personal care, medication, cooking, and cleaning
• Encouraging participation in hobbies, interests, and community events (think: movies, birthday parties, music, games, and more!)
• Teaching and modeling life skills through everyday activities
• Promoting safety, comfort, and independence in the person's home and community
• Being a strong advocate for people who may not always be able to advocate for themselves
• Laughing, having fun, and building meaningful connections

Pay rate: $18.25/hour
Increase to $18.75/hour after a year of service in this role at Mains'l
Maximum pay: $19.25/hour (based on years of service at Mains'l)Benefits (Full-Time):

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation (if applicable)
• Ability to pass a TB test and physical (if applicable)
• Clear driving record (if applicable)
