No sponsorship is available for this position.Your new roleRamboll is seeking a motivated Pursuit Manager to join the global Environment & Health Strategic Pursuits team. Building on the foundations of a tender manager, the Pursuit Manager supports technical teams across pre‑tender propositioning, strategy development, tender response management, interviews and lessons learned. Reporting to the Strategic Pursuits Manager, you will support the delivery of strategic bids and tenders, collaborating with colleagues across Commercial, Operational, Technical, Digital, Sustainability and Key Account teams. While your focus will be largely on the Americas region, it is a global role so you will be working with people internationally. Cultural awareness and occasionally working to different time zones is required. Therefore, the candidate will be ideally based on the US East coast to align more closely to European times – although candidates from other regions will be considered. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, consultative, collaborative, personable and eager to get the best out of others while not being afraid to challenge traditional thinking. The successful candidate will use their best‑practice knowledge of bids and capture processes to develop and execute winning pursuit strategies.Your key responsibilities will include:Assist with all phases of the pursuit process, including positioning, qualification, proposal/bid preparation, and interviews, following Ramboll and E&H standardsCoach technical teams on developing a winning strategy, client engagement and implementation of strategies in the tender response and interview presentationsFacilitate strategy sessions, supporting technical teams to be collaborative and innovativeManage projects the end‑to‑end pursuit process, including supporting governance and risk processesTroubleshoot and support the bid / tender process to maximize win potentialEscalate concerns or issues to the Strategic Pursuits ManagerSupport the Strategic Pursuits Manager in raising the profile of the Strategic Pursuits teamActs as a mentor to other members of the teamQualifications7+ years of experience in bid/pursuit management with demonstrable experience in supporting the development of strong value propositionsFamiliarity with best practice pursuit/bid processes and a willingness to learn and share knowledgeRelevant certifications (such as APMP) will be an advantageExperienced in interview / presentation coaching would be beneficialStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to build relationships across teams and levelsGood proposal planning and writing skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressureCreative thinking and a positive, collaborative attitudeAble to challenge technical teams to develop truly unique value propositionsWhat we can offer youInteresting and diverse projectsGenerous Paid Time OffExcellent health and retirement benefitsInvestment in your developmentLeaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership PrinciplesAppreciation for the unique person you areThe long‑term thinking of a foundation‑owned companyInspiration from colleagues, clients, and projectsReady to join us?Please submit your application with your up‑to‑date CV. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,700–$126,100 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
